We’ve just released two new Study Island Group Session modes and we’d love to learn how you are using them in your classroom.

Check out our tips to get you started!

1. Do not post pictures or videos of students’ faces or provide any other personally identifiable information without appropriate consents and permissions. Check with your school or district to find out about social media policies and permissions.

2. Images or videos showing student in-the-moment reactions work nicely.

3. If you aren’t able to show students, consider posting a video or picture of you next to the projector screen with the leaderboard or another part of the session. Be sure to obscure any personally identifiable student information such as names or ID numbers.

4. For resources on using the Group Session feature in Study Island, log in to Study Island and click on the Help Center button. There, you’ll find a section of resources focused on helping you get the most out of this feature.
