MEET OUR PRESENTERS

Dr. Shane Robbins
Superintendent, Dorchester School District 2 in Summerville, South Carolina

Before joining Dorchester School District 2 in 2022, Dr. Shane Robbins served as superintendent for several Indiana districts, including the Kershaw County School District, the Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation, Northwestern Consolidated School District, and Monroe Central Schools. He has previously worked as a principal, assistant principal, athletic trainer, and classroom teacher.

Dr. Robbins received a doctorate in educational leadership, an education specialist degree, a master’s in K-12 administration, and a master’s in secondary education from Ball State University. He earned his bachelor’s in allied health/athletic training from Franklin College.

Dr. Robbins currently serves as a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve where he is assigned to the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General overseeing the National Disaster Medical System program.

Dr. Sheila Quinn
Superintendent, Clover School District in Clover, South Carolina​

Dr. Sheila B. Quinn was named superintendent of Clover School District in 2018, having previously served as the deputy state superintendent for innovation and effectiveness at the South Carolina Department of Education (DOE).

Prior to the DOE, Dr. Quinn worked as Clover’s assistant superintendent for curriculum and administrative services. She also spent 18 years in Rock Hill Schools as a teacher, administrator, director of K-12 curriculum, and executive director for middle and secondary education.

Dr. Quinn holds a doctorate in education from Gardner-Webb University. She earned a master’s in education administration and a bachelor’s in English and secondary education from Winthrop University.

Dr. Quinn has taught in the master’s and doctoral programs for educational leadership at both Gardner-Webb University and Winthrop University.
