Catherine West
Principal, Community High School, Warren Consolidated Schools

Community High School is the alternative high school within Warren Consolidated Schools. Community High provides an option for students who are struggling in a traditional school setting. Students come from all three traditional high schools within Warren Consolidated Schools, one of the largest school districts in Michigan. We currently serve students in grades 11 and 12.
Community High is designed for students who benefit from a more personalized and flexible learning environment, with strong academic and social-emotional supports. These supports include credit recovery opportunities and individualized pacing to help students stay on track toward graduation.
This year, the district also launched a virtual learning program for students who may be at risk of expulsion from the district. This program allows students to complete coursework online while remaining enrolled in Warren Consolidated Schools, providing scheduling flexibility and an additional pathway toward graduation.
Together, these options support student re-engagement, credit completion, and multiple pathways to earning a Warren Consolidated Schools diploma.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software.
