Educator Round Table Discussion

Join us for a day of personalized learning and discussion on Friday, December 1, 2017, at the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center. During this event, we’ll unpack Oklahoma accountability initiatives and requirements such as mastering Oklahoma Academic Standards, identifying skills gaps and reduce the need for remediation, and ensuring college and career readiness for all students while providing resources for these initiatives.

Morning session: 8:30 – 11:00 AM

The morning session will focus on secondary personalized learning programs designed to individualize learning for all students:

• Learn how consistent practice helps students master the new Oklahoma Academic Standards and how teachers can create quick, formative and interim assessments, validated by Marzano Research.

• Explore meeting Oklahoma Academic Standards with research-based programs and Oklahoma’s new ACT/SAT and ICAP initiatives by providing targeted, adaptive benchmarks, practice, and individualized learning paths for all learners. 
Discover an adaptive intervention developed FOR secondary students in Math, Reading, and ELA.

Afternoon session: 12:00 – 2:30 PM

The afternoon session will focus on elementary personalized learning programs designed to individualize learning for all students:

• Learn how consistent practice helps students master the new Oklahoma Academic Standards and how teachers can create quick, formative and interim assessments, validated by Marzano Research.


Meet unique student needs (remediation and acceleration) through an adaptive diagnostic assessment, prescribed learning path, and complex progress monitoring for targeted instruction in Math, Reading, and ELA.

• Investigate two Reading Sufficiency Act—Oklahoma State Department of Education approved interventions.
