2018 Edmentum's Love for Learning Contest Terms and Conditions

SPONSOR: The Love for Learning Awards are sponsored by Edmentum, Inc. (“Sponsor”), 5600 W 83rd Street, Suite 300, 8200 Tower, Bloomington, Minnesota 55437, who is solely responsible for all aspects of these awards.

TIME PERIOD: Nominations can be submitted starting at 12:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) on Monday, October 15, 2018, and may not be submitted after 11:59 p.m. CDT on Friday, November 30, 2018.

ELIGIBILITY: The nominees must be educator or administrator employees of a Sponsor customer as of October 15, 2018. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The awards identified herein are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.

AWARDS: One overall grand prize winner will win a $1,000 Amazon gift card. Two first place winners will win a $500 Amazon gift card. Two second place winners will win a $200 Amazon gift card. Two third place winners will win a $100 Amazon gift card. All winners will be featured in an Edmentum blog and by participating in this contest consent to such feature/inclusion. There are no substitutions unless specified by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Award recipients are required to ensure that their acceptance of the award does not violate any terms and conditions of their employment or applicable law or preclude or restrict Sponsor from doing business with their employer. To the extent that any tax applies to an award, the award recipient agrees to be responsible for the payment of such tax.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Sponsor will attempt to contact all winners on or before Monday, December 17, 2018, by email. Sponsor will make THREE (3) attempts to contact the potential winners at the nominees email provided by the person submitting the nomination. If a winner cannot be contacted within 3 days of the first attempted contact, or if a winner does not meet the eligibility requirements, that winner may be deemed ineligible and an alternate winner will be selected by the judge(s) based on the criteria described herein. Awards are not exchangeable or transferable. Eligibility for an award is also conditioned on the potential winner nominee granting the Sponsor and its agents the right to associate and publicize the nominee and nomination with nominee's name, image, likeness, school, state and biological information, without compensation. Personally identifiable information collected from or in connection with the nomination will be collected by and used by Sponsor, its affiliates, marketing agents and marketers for purposes of administering and publicizing the award.

PUBLICITY:  By submitting a nomination or accepting an award, each submitter or award winner grants Sponsor permission to use the person’s name, likeness, voice, photographs, video, opinions and statements for administrative and promotional purposes. Any use of the forgoing information may be in any manner or media now or hereafter known or existing, worldwide, in perpetuity and without compensation, notice or further consent, unless prohibited by law. The information received from the submitted or award winners will be used or shared in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (http://www.edmentum.com/privacy-policy).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Each submitter is responsible for all costs associated with the compilation and submission of entries. All nominations must be received during the Time Period specified above. Incomplete submissions, or those containing incorrect information, will be voided. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Submissions must be submitted in English. By participating, each submitter and award winner agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the subject matter identified herein.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY RELEASE: By participating, each submitter and award winner agrees that Sponsor and related organizations, their agents and employees (“Released Parties”) have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the award, or by their participation. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for (a) incorrect or inaccurate entry information or late, unintelligible, illegible, damaged, mutilated, altered, incomplete, misdirected nominations received through impermissible channels, all of which will be disqualified; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer online systems, computer equipment, website, server provider, network, hardware or software; (c) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any website or service; (d) unauthorized intervention in any part of the entry process or the award including, without limitation, multiple entries by the same person through use of automatic registration or other similar programs; (e) typographical, electronic or human errors that may occur in the offer or administration of the award or the processing of nominations; (f) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to submitter's computer, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from their participation, or from viewing, playing or downloading any material from Sponsor’s website; or (g) from the acceptance or use of the award. 

Sponsor reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate or suspend the award in whole or in part, to extend the End Date or to modify the award or these Official Rules in any way, in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to void any submission if it believes such submission was submitted other than as required by these Official Rules or that the submission has been tampered with in any manner. Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any schedule changes in the award timeline, including without limitation, scheduling conflicts, labor strikes, Acts of God, or other unforeseen events that disrupt the award schedule.
