Explanation:

The new test will be based on an entirely new scale and will have a passing score of 150 on each test module.

How many short answer questions will be on the social studies section of the 2014 GED® test?

Answer:

A. 5

Explanation:

There are no short answer items on the Social Studies exam, only an extended response item.  Short answer items only appear on the Science exam and require the equivalent of about a paragraph as a response.


Question 4:

When will the practice tests for the GED® 2014 test be available?

Answer:

A. winter 2012

B. fall 2013

C. spring 2013

D. winter 2013

Explanation:

Practice tests will be released in the fall of 2013. Test-takers will receive a description of the skills they have demonstrated at their performance level as well as a description of the skills that they need to work on to move to higher levels of performance.
