A total of 219 schools and 12,574 students participated in the Study Island 2018 Summer Academic Sprints contest this year! There were two different ways for students to win:

Most Questions Correct: The top student from each grade span (K-5, 6-8, 9-12) won if they had the most questions answered with at least 60% correct overall.
Consistent Practice: Two winners were chosen at random out of the students who answered 20+ questions correctly for at least 8 of the 11 weeks.

Looked at it, and then hurried on, Alice started to her feet, for it flashed across her mind that she had never before seen a rabbit with either a waistcoat-pocket, or a watch to take out of it, and burning with curiosity, she ran across the field after it, and fortunately was just in time to see it pop down a large rabbit-hole under the hedge.

A total of 1,171 schools and 151,035 students participated to make this contest one of the largest we've ever seen. The school winner was chosen randomly from all schools who met the minimum requirement of having 75% of their participating students earn at least 2 Blue Ribbons during each of the four weeks of the contest. The student winners were selected randomly from all students who earned at least 2 Blue Ribbons during each of the four weeks of the contest.
